Prof. Daniel Moses

BSc(Hons) MBBS Hons MEngSc FRANZCR, DABR

Prof Daniel Moses is currently the Director of Medical Imaging of the Northern Network of Hospitals, SESLHD and holds a senior staff specialist position with a subspecialty in body, thoracic and cardiac radiology. He is also the Medical Director at Research Imaging NSW, at UNSW. 

He has a strong interest in body MR/CT with extensive experience in chest, abdominal and urological imaging (including intervention). He is PET (peripheral endovascular therapy) accredited and also cardiac CT (level B) accredited. He is a fellow of the RANZCR and accredited by the American Board of Radiology and the specialist register in the UK.

As well as his clinical expertise, Prof Moses has a background in science/engineering which includes a BSc with majors in physics, mathematics, physiology and biochemistry, a BSc(Hons) in Pure Mathematics, a Master of Engineering Science (Biomedical) and a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests include medical image analysis, functional MRI and pancreatic/prostate/cardiac imaging.

He also serves on various committees and boards including the Conjoint Committee for Certification in Cardiac MRI and the Artificial Intelligence Committee, RANZCR.
